Clean, but empty van body cavities
I used autobody undercoating material to line the inside of any accessible cavity in the van to insure that this van would not rust from the inside out or in areas hidden to me. I've seen too many VW's rust this way.
As you can see, I had full access to every body cavity in the van. After undercoating, I put R25 fiberglass home insulation in every appropriate space. This gave me the benefit of better sound insulation, as well as making this thing a very warm camper van.
This was the dented corner I inherited. Surface only, nothing structural here. Look at the next photo. No bent metal behind the bumper end.

After a little bondo and primer, it looked like this. I'm sure glad I did it the right way. Made the turn signal light screw holes line up correctly.

Here are your requested photos of the dent/crease... the biggest flaw in the body of the entire van. That little brown spot is a surface rust spot. I should get some primer/paint on it.
As you can see, the dent is VERY shallow.
My recommendation on fixing this dent would be to just have a shop sand it down and use some bondo. The other side of this is the sink/stove/refrigerator assembly. That would be a nightmare to take out, just to try and bang this crease out.
