Basics

Soundrop is a musical geometry game for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch.
  1. Dropper - This creates ball objects and drops them onto the playing field. Drag to reposition on screen.
  2. Ball objects bounce off of line instruments. The pitch of the sound created changes with the velocity of the ball during collision.
  3. Tap and Drag to create line instruments. Double-Tap to erase.
  4. Line Handle - Tap and Drag to edit a line instrument.

This version of Soundrop also supports TV out for iOS firmware 3.2 and above.

Pro Features

Multiple Instruments

Instruments can be assigned to different line colors inside of Soundrop. Once purchased, a Menu button will appear in the top right-hand corner of the Soundrop play screen. This is where you will assign instruments to different line colors. By default, white lines are set to the classic marimba sound.


Use the instrument selector on the play screen to select the line instrument color you would like to draw.

Multiple Drops

The Multiple Drops feature does just what the name implies. Tap and Hold to create new a new Dropper.


Single tap on a Dropper to open the tempo selector. The top slider selects the drop tempo, while the bottom slider is used to set variability. ± x0.00 being the most precise and ± x0.95 being the most random.

Physics Modifiers

Physics Modifiers allow you to change gravity, air friction and bounce constants. This feature also enables the choice of fixed or real gravity.



Game Save

Game save is an extremely simple feature. Just tap "Save Game" on the in-game menu. Saved soundrops appear just below the save button. Click on a saved game and close the menu to begin using it. Swipe-to-delete to clear a previously saved game from the list.
