At that time, he was responsible for the day to day activities of two freshman world history classes. Dave is a professional in all areas of teaching, whether in the classroom, at student activities, at faculty meetings, or just at the lounge. He also has excellent class management skills. His knowledge in the social science disci7plines of government and history, both United States and world is thorough and he is always working to present material in a variety of creative and interesting ways. His classroom is highly structured yet is a relaxed environment conducive to learning. His lessons are always well planned and organized, but he can also be flexible when the unexpected occurs. Dave is enthusiastic about teaching and has a genuine interest in students. Conversely, his students have expressed a genuine appreciation for him and his teaching. I recommend Dave without any reservations. He will be a tremendous asset to any staff. Dave has demonstrated to me that he is destined to become an exceptional teacher. Now all he needs is the chance. Sincerely, Joseph G.
