Description: On sale, one McIntosh MA 230 Integrated Stereo Amplifier (performance certified 10/23/69 on the side) in a wooden box. The box is slightly scratched on the side(shown on the picture). One of the tubes also have a couple of rust spots on it(also shown on one of the pictures). It is clean and beautiful, the front plate is not scratched, the letters are still intact (as shown in the pictures). And of course it still works flawlessly. I want to avoid shipping to another country, because, frankly speaking, I don't think it will make it in one piece, but if you insist, I will do it for an extra charge (depending on the country/extra packing/customs/labels, etc). Serial number: 46C12. It is in excellent condition, both physically and operationally. It has been in operation until today in my living room HiFi set-up. The front glass is in excellent shape with no scratches or blemishes. The same is true for the front switches and knobs. This is a very attractive model. The circuit diagram and transformer writing is in excellent shape, adhering with no problems to the chassis. The chassis itself has only the most minor of nicks and blemishes, all of which are clear in the pictures. The chrome is in excellent shape, very shiny with all of the lettering in-tact. The serial number is the only inconsistency in the chrome lettering and is difficult to read. The amplifier is designed for 30W per channel, stereo. Tubes are 7591: GE, The 12AX7 and 12AU7's have most of the lettering rubbed off, but on one of the 12AU7's the Telefunken Western Germany mark is visible. Original Telefunken tubes were known for the lettering rubbing off easily. Packaging and shipping will be done professionally. Shipping is calculated for the continental US.
