Q# 13. What did you like about this class?

- I like this class because it is interesting. I am always learning something new and I like the instructor.

- The instructor was very forward and professional.

- Joe wasn't just being a teacher just to get the job done. Every class he would make sure we understood his lesson and always remind us about assignments that we should be working on and to get them done on time.

- I liked the teacher and how enthusiastic he was about the materials. The class was fast paced but educational.

- I like that Joe was extremely interested in the already compelling subject matter.

- I like lectures and presentation.

- Joe is an awesome teacher. He loves history and makes an effort to present a wide array of viewpoints.

- Good information.

- Good class, enjoyed it. Had no idea it was an "online credit class", so not having internet at my house somewhat hampered it.

- I liked that the class is not just a lecture, we watched videos and did other activities.

- I like how energetic and passionate Mr. Escobar is about teaching. I like everything I learned.

- Good PowerPoint presentantions/lessons

- The history within our country I did knot know before.

- I liked the interesting information. The instructor is very knowledgeable and understanding.

- This is the best history class anyone could ever take. His class is interesting. I lied the videos, slides, lectures, textbook, everything.

- H.T.D. and his knowledge on the subject. He also was clear that views get screwed and not to believe everything.

- It was very informing. He was very enthusiastic.

- The test was way to in depth - midterm I am speaking of - it left me feeling stupid

- It was difficult and the test didn't follow the class very well, but the material in class was very good.

- Joe combined textbook info with videos and some personal experiences. The class doesn't get boring, it is fun to come to.

- I liked everything about the class except the test. The tests are very hard and information presented can be overwhelming at times but other than that... great class.

Q# 14. How could this class be improved? Add any comments about the class and/or the instructor that you feel
might be helpful or useful.

- More study guides when it comes to the tests.

- The videos on the Historical Discussion Topics should be available in multiple formats t make it easier to view those at home.

- Adequate materials (projector, etc.)

- Tests are very long. Usually, by the time I get to the last 20 questions, I am drained and can't think straight. It would be helpful if tests were about 50-60 questions.

- Not enough push towards memorization, i.e. quizzes/study guides

- Good overall, can't think of any.

- Fix the technology that is used.

- I think more interactive worksheets could help. Also, interaction with people in the class - more class discussion rather than just pure lecture and note taking.

- Less online, more in-class

- The class needs more take-home worksheets. The in-class notes become incredibly overwhelming.

- It's good.

- A little more explanation on what we have to do for online work.

- More class feedback during and easier test.

- The test less hard.

- It's already great!

- There is enough information presented in this class to be split into two separate classes. Maybe tone it down and lighten the test.
