Hello Exam Proctor, Thank you again for taking the time to serve as a midterm exam proctor for my student in the HST195 History of the Vietnam War online class at Lane Community College in Eugene, Oregon. I apologize for the generic nature of this email, but I have a large number of students taking tests from remote locations this term. I hope my student has made arrangements for a specific day and time to take the exam with you. Starting Thursday, February 7 at 9am, the last test day concludes on Tuesday, February 12. Tests can be SUBMITTED no later than 7pm. The midterm exam is a closed book, no notes or other study aides, objective exam. Although there is not time limit, the exam should take about an hour to complete. Have the student login to Moodle (our learning management system) and go to the HST195 Course as they normally do. The website is: http://moodle.lanecc.edu Scroll to week 5, where you will see the link for the Midterm Exam OFF CAMPUS PROCTOR. Click it, and you will be asked for a password to continue. Without the student's knowledge, enter the password: viet591w08mt The test should then be shown with a "Submit All and Finish" button at the very bottom. Have the student complete the exam and click this button when they are finished. After the exam has been completed, if you could send a quick email reply to this email, noting the date, time, student name, and score, and assurance that the student did not use any study materials during the test, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks again, and feel free to contact me via email if you have any other questions. Joe Escobar History Instructor Lane Community College escobarj@lanecc.edu
