I think it is one of the better histor classes I have taken.	Not have the quizzed done before class. This class gave me a different outlook on history.
Just a quick note to say how much I did enjoy the lectures in this class. The use of video, props, class discussion helped to keep the material flowing. Most informative, and stuctured of any that I've had at LCC. Thanks for not boring us to tears.
It was very interesting it taught alot about the U.S. and how all these old western stories came about.	I don't think it could be taught any better. This class was excellent.
I liked that the instructor was very knowledgeable about the subject matter to the point of offering a lot of unknown detail and trivia, it made the class very interesting to me.
I specifically liked how the instructor focused on the issues rather than just memorizing dates.	Have more study groups available, these are really helpful
I liked the comptuer quizzes, they helped me to study and better understand the chapters.
He is a great teacher, know how to use today tech stuff and blend it in with his history.	Doesn't need any improvements
The new set of books! and can be used for all parts - saving students money	If the instructor could slow down a little. He's so enthusiastic that he really get moving faster than its possible to take good notes.

The subject was interesting. The instructor did everything possible to help the student learn the information and do well on the test.	Don't think I can. The study groups (encouraged and helped by the instructor), the computer quizzes, and class attendance are all VERY NECESSARY in order to get a good grade on the tests. But I enjoyed learning the subject.

The lectures were good. Easy to understand, to the point. He got right into it.
I learned alot
	I found that the whole "T" presentation at the start of the term helped to put the class in perspective. I learned more in one week than all of high school. (I guess you do have to pay attention.)
I learned alot of information that I never knew. It was presented in a manner that made it easier to learn.	It would have been a little better to not have the test based on just two tests.
The computer quizzes were helpful	This might be improved by increased midterms ie 3 or 4 instead of 2 including final. Also, questions involving the identification of proper nouns are very difficult but in my opinion do far less good in terms of improving ones understanding than questions involving concepts.
The way our instructor related historical to current events	Encourage more interaction between students and instructor and students, ie questions, discussions
Very informative, I thought Escobar was a very good teacher and I will continue to be in his history classes
	More studetns activities/discussion and a little less lecture
The instructor. This is the second time I have had him and he has led me to thinking about history as a major because of his enthusiasm for the subject.
He made the material very interesting and actually fund to learn. I thought this was going to be a somewhat boring class and it wasn't at all.
It was interesting.	Just taking notes and reading is hard for me to learn. The tests are hard but fair. I would like worksheets, even if they were optional to help study on top of the web tests and the study guide
I enjoyed the way that he related everything to our time. It made things easier to understand.
A lot of information	Easier curriculum would help. It jumps around too much.
I like the format and the interesting discussions. The use of video clips was very helpful in emphasizing certain areas. I felt that the quizzes and study guides were integral to this class, allowing me to retain a lot more info.

Some of the lectures were delivered in a hasty manner and I felt like important concepts and facts that I would need to know for an exam were delivered too quickly and their importance not emphasized.
