The class was awesome.	Nothing could be improved.
I enjoy how the tests were online and able to take them whenever you wanted to.	NA
I like how he gave two PSD to do and took the highest of the two.	NA
It is the most engaging class I've ever taken.	I can't see any reason for it needing to be improved.
Presentation was great. Different media types, strong clear statements and organization helped to drive concepts home.	Set some time aside for student questions/concerns that could help clarify their understanding.  Thank you for a good term.
I liked the fact that not only did we use words, but videos and political cartoons kept my interest.	I really enjoyed this class.
	Tests were very difficult.
Love this class !!  I like how Joe makes history enjoyable - very enthusiastic - awesome teacher!  One of the best @ Lane.	Nothing - but maybe he can teach more history classes!
Wonderful class and instructor.
Joe went out of his way to help students.  I was having trouble in this course and he made sure to make himself available to me. He is an awesome teacher and I hope to take another class w/him.	I don't believe the class can be improved.  He knows what is is doing and he does it well.
He was excited to teach and he knew what he talked about.  Lectures were prepared well.
I liked the combination of video and lecture.  He showed all sides of history.	More explanation about the primary source document questions.
It was a fun class I wanted to take.	NA
The teacher.	It's hard to improve since its such a good class.
The enthusiasm Escobar had for teaching it.	Class could not be improved.
I liked how the instructor involved both notes and video clips to show facts of the time periods.	More "clicker" days.  Students seem to respond well to interaction.
The class was not just a long lecture but had actual video footage to back up what was said.
How knowledgeable and available the instructor was.	Maybe pop quizzes to help refresh students memories and knowledge on subject.
It was good.  The lectures were interesting and easy to follow and if there was a question, it was answered.	Maybe a study session that was set up for both the final and midterm.  That students didn't put together, because that just doesn't work out very well.  But excellend overall.
Escobar's enthusiasm in the subject and the use of pictures/comics/humor to strengthen the material.	More clickers.  Anything outside of the normal lecture/video style teaching, I believe, keeps students on task and fully interested.  The lectures were still the best I've been a part of.
I liked the media presented in class and how organized the class was.
I prefer the standard lecture/test format.	Sometimes the internet quiz questions did not apply directly to information in the text.  Perhaps Joe uses the unabridged version.

I really like the videos, and powerpoint.  Joe did an excellent job at this.	None.
The teacher was very well informed and presented the information well (powerpoint, movies, handouts).  Was a very easy class to attend.
Escobar's teaching methods, personality, and class structure.	Don't know.
There was alot of opportunity for students to put their input in during class.	It seemed that a lot of the reading we did in our textbook did not related to what was covered in class.
The computer quizzes helped me prepare for tests.  I enjoyed the videos that were shown.  They helped me have a sense of what was going on during the periods of time we were studying.  And I actually like history now!
Joe's knowledge of the subject and the video clips, also his straight forward style of teaching with the addition of mild humor.  Made me want to do good.	I had a great time in class.  I guess I would like the class to discuss more.  P.S. I used to hate history.  Now I love it!  I know, super cheezy, but true.
The instructor was enthusiastic and engaging.	People tended to skip class often.  I feel that that is a no fault of the instructor and I feel that the class was rewarding and well taught.
I liked how much I learned!  Seriously, I have taken history classes, and come away with very little.  But this was engaging - funny or sad.  Joe Escobar is the best teacher besides Gail Baker (Science) @ Lane.	No improvements, well, maybe more written assignments.
Great use of technology.  One of the best teachers I've ever had.	If more people used online resources (forums, sharing links, etc.)

Good class mixture of lectures and activities.  Class is not boring at all.	Nothing really.  Just stay on task and you'll pass.

Joe took an unbiased approach to presenting the material.  He made a solid effort to pick topics that were more important to the ways our world and society have been shaped to what it is today, while still throwing out a few less relevant but important side points.	It's fine the way it is.
Having everything so clearly stated and most in written examples (like all the spectrums), as well as the videos.  I loved that every class had some humorous element to it and that history could be so interesting when I had previously disliked  my other history classes so much.  I also found the online tests helpful!	It's nice to see a professor so passionate about his subject.  Thanks for teaching so well!
