| Procedures | Course format is a blend of lecture and discussion, prompted by student questions, outside readings, primary source document analysis and video clips. It is imperitive to GPA and self esteem that students keep to the class schedule of assigned readings, testing, and exams. |
| Evaluation |
Computer Tests consisting of 20 multiple choice questions are available on the
internet. They must be taken before class on the day scheduled. There will
be one for each chapter in the book.
There are no makeup exams. There is no extra credit. Grades of INCOMPLETE
will not be given. Attendance will be considered in determining your final grade. |

| Social Science Computer Lab | Lab location and hours are: Main Campus CEN 423 - Mon-Thur 10am-8pm, Fri 10am-5pm. Computers are available for word processing, computerized testing, and surfing the internet. The fee is $1/hour. Enrollment in this class comes with two hours of computer time in ANY and ALL of the LCC computer labs. |
