To install LCC phpbb v3.0

create a phpbb database in MySQL and create and assign user

GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON TESTPILOT.* TO testpilot@localhost IDENTIFIED BY 'password';

PHPBB INSTALL

install phpbb as usual

http://teach.lanecc.edu/username/bb/

remove install and contrib directories


CALENDAR

Install the database tables:
Run the "cal_install.php" file using your browser
http://teach.lanecc.edu/username/bb/cal_install.php

If all appears to be working DELETE the 
cal_convert_fn.php
cal_install.php files
cal_install/ directory.

OPEN GROUPS

Run the "opengroups_db_update.php" file using your browser
http://teach.lanecc.edu/username/bb/opengroups_db_update.php

delete the opengroups_db_update.php file

MULTIPLE EMAILS

Run this SQL command on the db

INSERT INTO phpbb_config (config_name, config_value) VALUES ('allow_multiple', '1'); 

(SEE IF YOU CAN ADD THIS LINE INTO ANOTHER DB UPDATE FILE SOMETIME)
