If you are receiving this email, then you are a faculty member with a Moodle account.  If you are no longer using your account and would like to have it deleted, along with your associated courses, be sure to let me know by replying to this email.  (Reply to SENDER ONLY, not ALL recipients.)

This email applies to all instructors using Moodle, whether or not you have a course this term.  Please read.

Our WebCT server has over 440 courses presently taking up hard drive space.  While that, in and of itself, is not a problem, it certainly makes for confusing administration.  As you already know, NEW courses are never copied.  They are RESTORED from BACKUP files of EXISTING courses at the start of each term.  I must look through an alphabetized list of 440+ courses in order to create your class(es) each term.

I am certain that MOST of these 440+ courses are old versions and terms, most never to be taught again.  Therefore, I would like your permission to delete them and streamline our system.

Each of you will be receiving a SEPARATE email listing all of the FILENAMES of the courses that "belong" to you as a designer.  Do not reply to this email, but to that other email that will shortly follow this one.
