Hello ALL WebCT Instructors,

This email applies to all instructors using WebCT for the upcoming WINTER AND SPRING 2005 Terms.

I hope the end of the 4th week of the term finds you well.  

Starting Winter 2005 Term, we used the students' L# as their WebCT login ID AND initial password.  I believe the process when more smoothly than in other terms.  But I will solicit your feedback for this topic AND ANY OTHER you may have regarding WebCT.  Take a look at the OPEN bulletinboard I have for WebCT instructors at:

You may read the comments of others and they may inspire you to post your own.  You may find that you are not alone in your criticism or praise for some WebCT related issue at LCC.  Often times, individual emails are just that, communication between just 2 or more people.  Spamming, like THIS email which I send to all instructors with WebCT accounts, has its function also, but is not good for open discussions.  I hope this bulletinboard gives us a chance to discuss and make changes/refinements to our system so that the "needs of most are mostly served."  ;-)

Finally, it's never too early to start planning for Spring Term.  As you are becoming accustomed, will each of you complete the simple form below IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON USING WEBCT for the Spring 2005 Term

I will create your "new" Spring Term class and put it under the SPRING 2005 WebCT Class Category.  From that point on, be sure to make changes, such as the information page, to that NEW class, not the old one you've been working on.  (Hopefully, if all goes well and the new class looks okay to you, you'll email me and let me continue to "clean house" by deleting that old course from the system.)
