Steps for transferring quizzes from TestPilot to Moodle

#1 - Getting data from TestPilot

Send Joe ALL of your quizzes, saved as webpages.
You have until OCT 16, 2006 to complete this task 
(TestPilot server will no longer be accessible.)
He converts them to AIKEN format and returns them to you.

#2 - Adding answer key in AIKEN format

Open the text files Joe returned to you.
Suggestion:  Right click on the filename and OPEN WITH Wordpad
Add your answers to the file - eg. ANSWER: C
Save the file as MS-DOS Text format

#3 - Importing your AIKEN files
Login to moodle.lanecc.edu
Go to the appropriate class.
Click QUESTIONS in the Admin Block
Create appropriate Categories for your AIKEN files
Click IMPORT
Select correct Category and AIKEN format
Browse to AIKEN file on your computer, open, and import

Repeat for each quiz/chapter

#4 - Creating a Quiz in Moodle

While logged into your course, turn editing on
Go to appropriate week and Add Activity - QUIZ
Name quiz and select options - continue
Select questions from appropriate Category
Preview quiz
