Hello Presenters, Well, this is the final week you have for preparation. Timing is going to be important, since many sessions are scheduled in the same rooms back-to-back. You should also allow a few minutes for the presenter who follows you to "set up". There are 2 very important things you will have to allow time for at your workshops. #1 Taking attendance #2 Getting evaluations from attendees #1 We are taking attendance (with names AND email addresses) in order that I can "follow up" with participants a few months after inservice. The college is very interested to see if the time and effort put into training and workshops actually results in staff adopting/using this new technology. Those of you presenting in computer classrooms will be able to "take role" online. Have your participants go to our inservice homepage: http://teach.lanecc.edu/inservice and click the ATTENDANCE link at the bottom. They will see a form where they choose the correct workshop from a list, enter their name. and enter their email address. VERY SIMPLE AND VERY QUICK. For those of you NOT in a room where attendees have computers, you will need to pass around a sign up list. I will provide those forms and give them to you before your workshops. #2 Evaluations are being requested of all attendees so that YOU will have some good feedback on your session and I will have feedback on how/if session offerings need to be changed and/or adapted. Again, those of you presenting in computer classrooms will be able to administer the surveys online. Have your participants go to our inservice homepage: http://teach.lanecc.edu/inservice and click the EVALUATION link at the bottom. They will see a form where they choose the correct workshop from a list and complete a few questions. For those of you NOT in a room where attendees have computers, you will need to pass around and collect evaluations. I will provide those forms and give them to you before your workshops. ************************* Again, attendance, your presentation, question-and-answers, and evaluations must take place within your 55 minute time period so you can allow a "passing" period of time to clear the room of attendees and your materials so that the next presenter can get set up. Look at the full schedule on the website and see if this applies to you. Of course, if no one follows your presentation in your room, you can feel free to linger with participants and answer their questions. ************************** I have included the evaluation questions below so you can see on what topics attendees will be asked to give feedback. Fall Inservice 2004 - Innovation in Technology - Evaluation Form Question #1 Which presentation are you evaluating?
