Add/Edit a page tool is the same as Moodle Add Resource

Content Module does both static pages and multiple ones, like Moodle Book Activity

Text blocks (upper and lower) are Moodle labels or even HTML blocks

Student homepages are Moodle edit profile (and perhaps the file sharing block from HSU)

Selective release in WebCT can be by student, whereas in Moodle the closest thing is by visibility by date

WebCT can download all student files at once.  Moodle does not.

Organizer pages are simply place holders for other groups of pages.  
They are icon heirarchies.  No real equivalent in Moodle other than listing a Directory (resource)

Organizer pages can be replicated if an instructor uses Moodle topics format, or more elegantly if they simply refer to the ACTIVITIES block

WebCT self test is simply an unscored Moodle Quiz

WebCT quiz icon must be linked to an already created quiz (done in Quiz editor).  Step not needed in Moodle

Student tips in WebCT - Moodle has not equivalent, but you could use the glossary
These tips pop up when student logs in.


Assignments are NOT linked to the course calendar.

Course Menu is always available, like Moodle courseblocks, like Admin menu

File Manager in WebCT is similar to Files link in Moodle

Image database?  Just a directory of images.

Control Panel Stuff

Track Pages simply counts page hits (Moodle does not have this explicitely)

Manage Students = Gradebook
