Go to ChinaImporters.com at http://www.chinaimporters.com/. Locate the conversion calculators by clicking on “Metric Conversion Calculator” at the bottom of the page. Find the Fahrenheit calculator, log in today's temperature, and record the Celsius reading. Also try to convert a few distances, volumes, and weights.

Go to the Cornell Theory Center site at http://www.tc.cornell.edu/, and type “Math and Science Gateway” in the “Quick Search” box at the left of the page. Click on “Welcome to the Cornell Theory Center.”  Then click on the :Math and Science Gateway.” Then click on the “Mathematics” link. Scroll down the list and click on “Math Goodies.” Review three tutorials. List them and write about anything new you learned from each one.

Visit AAA Math at http://www.aaamath.com/. Select at least two items from the “Math Topics” list. Read the explanations provided, and work the interactive practice problems for those topics.
