Go to The World Medical Association site at http://www.wma.net/. Do a search on “Professional Responsibility for Standards of Medical Care.” Select one of the WMA - Policy links and write a summary of the Association’s position.

Visit the Center for Ethics in Health Care at the Oregon Health & Science University at http://www.ohsu.edu/. (Go to the “Programs and Centers” scroll menu at the right of the home page, and select “Center for Ethics in Health Care.”) Scroll down the page, and choose a topic that interests you. What ethical questions and issues are addressed?

Visit the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services at http://cms.hhs.gov/, and perform a search for “advance directive.” Read one of the reports available, and write a list of key facts about advance directives.
