Hello all,

I've entered you all into a new Tech Plan listserv
(which is running on WebBoard).

The URL address for the web interface is:
http://list.lanecc.edu:8080/~techplan

Your login name is LastNameFirstInitial.
Unless you've changed it (for another WebBoard),
your password is probably your first name (all
lower case)

eg.
Name - doej
Password - john

You can login if you wish to change your email
options. Right now, everyone is set up to receive
email everytime someone posts to the listserv.
You may want to turn on the DIGEST feature,
which will limit you to getting 1 email (digest) a
day.

I will HIGHLY RECOMMEND that (if your email
inbox is a full as mine is) you set up a new
TechPlan folder in Groupwise. Then, create a
filter that directs all email FROM
listmaster@list.lanecc.edu to that folder. That
way, you'll be able to keep all Tech Plan related
email in one place, that you can refer to when you
want to.

To post a message to the list, you can either:

Use the web interface, login, and post
http://list.lanecc.edu:8080/~techplan

OR

#2
Use your Groupwise email (your @lanecc.edu
account) to send email to:
techplan@list.lanecc.edu
(***This second option will soon be available. We
are working out some LCC firewall issues)


Second, I've set up a quick web site where we will
soon be able to post web links we find for
example tech plans, and/or even upload Microsoft
Word documents.
