Cosmomological arg: casual arg (Aquines way 2)
Cotingency arg.(Aquines way 3)
Aquines 5 ways:
1.motion/chang
2.efficent cause (a.k.a the causal argument in Palmer)
3.Argument from Possibility of Necessity (Contigency Arg).
4.Gradation of Being (Ontological argument)
5.Govrmance of the World (Teleological argument or Design argument)

Contigent: a being that may not exist.
1.in the natural world things are created and destroyed
2.It is possible for any natural thing not to exist.
3.if it is possible for a thing not exist then at sometime it doen't exist.
4.Therefore if it is possible for everything not to exist then nothing would exist now.
5.Something exists now
6.therefore there must be at least one necassary being.
7.Necessary beings can't regress to infinity
8.there exists one infinate, necessary being God.
Criticism: Compesition of Fallacy: parts don not necassarily equal the whole.
It is possible for each and everything not to exist, therfore it is possible that the universe as a whole doesn't exist.
As long as creation and destruction are in equilibrium, something wil exist.

Teleogical Argument: or Design argument
Paley's Analogy of the Watch: the intricuit structutre of a watch implies it had a designer.
The uiniverse is like a machine, made of intricuit pieces, machines are always products of an itelligent designers. Therefore the universe is the product of an intelligent designer.
