I agree with that. The fact that Germany did get screwed after ww1 made a lot of Germans angry, and wanting to pass the blame is not so uncommon. The combination of the shamed country looking for a scapegoat for its problems, and the harsh upbringing of the kids made it easier for them to hate. having cruel parents teaches a child that cruelty is ok. Living in a country that found a group of people to blame for all its troubles gives an opportunity for these people who only know cruelty to pass it on in a manner that seems ok.
