It was Heinrich's deepest desire to be
someone. While his father wasn't in
control of his life, he had no choices. He
wanted that power. He craved those
choices. Unfortunately, having been
under his father rule for his entire life,
when he was finally able to go out to
make is own choices, be that "iron man"
he sought out someone more powerful
than himself. He needed someone to be
his father even after he was on his own.
He needed that dictator, someone who
would take control. He found Hitler who
definitely took control, but he also gave
Himmler what he desired most. The
power to make choices for himself and
others.
