The Problem of Evil poses a serious
threat to what most of us are conditioned
to think about God. It seems no one ever
has any sort of answer to this problem. If
one asks, why there is evil in this world,
the usual responses from authority
figures go something like "just because"
and we shouldn't be so bold as to even
question God's motives. They're all so
vague. Personally, this sort of thing leads
me to believe that God is definitely not
omnipotent. Perhaps, if there even is
some kind of entity, then God is more
human than anyone ever proposes.
Maybe he/she/it is fallible after all. I
noticed that none of the criticisms
addressed this issue. Well, that is my
own criticism of any argument for the
omnipotence of a God.
