A few comments about the material... I
found it really difficult to understand some
of the arguments for the existence of God.
I was pretty confused. After spending
time going over and over the reasoning, I
think I have some concept of what this
stuff means, but I'm not really sure if I'm
right. Besides that, all of it is really
interesting. For me, it's extremely
informative. I do not consider myself to
be part of any formal religion and am not
even sure if I do believe in a God. I'd like
to think there is some underlying, whole
'"force" behind this world. I'm not sure
that it has to be labeled "God" though. I
try and adhere to the policy that everything
comes from something, but then there is
the Big Bang Theory. Most scientists
agree that the Big Bang happened. Is
that really refutable? But, where did the
Big Bang come from? I don't know... still
trying to figure out the whole God thing. I
really like to delve into these
philosophical issues. I guess I'd have to
say that I'd go with the Cosmological,
Causal argument because it makes the
most rational sense to me. I wonder if we
were ever meant to know some of the
mysteries of the world. Maybe not.
