Different people each life but with different souls with personalities shaped by life makes sense to me and I understand but what makes your personality? What makes you you? Isn't part of your personality your soul? So if in each lifetime you are a different soul with a different personality not remembering anything from the previous lifetime and not keeping any of the personality from the previous lifetime then this wouldn't be life after death because this is not preserving your personal identity. Right?

I used to have similar beliefs as you but now I question them after studying some of the material in class!
