Since we're all talking about Palmer, I'll chime in as well. I've read a few books in my time, and Palmer was towards the top of the list. The guy has been an author for quite a while and teaching longer than that; give him some credit! Maybe his font is funky, but aesthetics are a small part of what this class is about. If you want to critique style and composition, please go take art classes and get credit for it. All in all, I have a few earmarked chapters I'll be reading again over spring break to keep the ol' brain juices stewin; try doing that with any other major philosopher-author book! (ever bookmark War and Peace??) Yes, it might be pre-digested and whatnot, but this is an intro class and thus we have an intro text along with the Prof's study aid papers to help us out.
