Cryonics has so many flaws that i couldn't choose just one way to object to it so I did more then one objection. Either cryonics is the brain child of some remarkable scam artists or some over anxious group of scientists I am unsure which? The spiritual side of cryonics would leave for a definite denial of the theory to work. If our bodies have souls, and these souls house our true existence then how do they freeze that? To believe when we pass these spirits float out from our bodies leaving them on earth to rot while we travel to a higher plain of existence. Then would the freezing of our bodies only result the preservation of a body without soul. Roundworms being reanimated after 2 hours, and then appearing to remember their preferred environment hardly is appropriate evidence to this theories plausibility. Salmon migrate against currents to lay eggs in specific spot is genetic, they do it on instinct. Or are we to believe salmon get reincarnated and this is how they know where to go? Chop my head off, freeze that so some day I can transplant that brain into a genetically engineered body, and somehow miraculously I will be aware. I will have memories, and be my original personality. I think even if it were possible I would rather pass let my body rot, and see what comes next. If it is nothing I still think I would be better off.
