I read the cryonics Handouts, and still can't fathom how any member of science can believe that reviving a frozen body would result in the reanimation of that persons existence? we've all seen the frankensteinish movies, or "Pet Cemetery" by stephen King. The fact that the dead come back as something warped, and demented in movies seems to be like a psychic view into cryonics. Even if we are revived with our minds in tack How could our limited sense of reality handle a future that can be so completely different from anything we ever could have imagined. When we get old we loose the ability to accept or understand change. We are not dumber just full. Our minds are only set up to be able to learn so much remember so much, and then melt down. our brains are delicate, and necessary. To freeze them, and hope that reanimation will result in a new longer life. A life without Family, loved ones. A life without anything known or familiar. A life where we would be different or lost seems hardly worth waking up to for me.
