I agree with you, that we are fulfilling a place in our heart, that in my opinion, needs filling. I don't think that everyone has this, or needs it to be filled, and our places are different. We are the same though in that in a time of need we all like to have someone there to talk to, or blame our mistakes on. I enjoyed reading the Palmer chapter also, actually the entire book has been very interesting. The handouts have helped me along with it to understand the key concepts.
