Philosophy in general can be a difficult subject.
The idea of an introductory class is to get the
basic ideas down and do some criticial thinking
about them. Palmer does a great job of explaining
those ideas in a sophisticated yet understandable
fashion. That being said, I appreciate the kudos
for my handouts :-)
