Human beings are highly adaptable
creatures. If we found someone from
say, the Roman Empire frozen in a block
of ice and were somehow able to revive
him today, I would imagine that within a
year he would be able to speak English,
drive a car, use a cell phone, etc. While
technology increases, you don't need to
understand how it works in order to use it
and humankind itself changes very little. If
he was an educated person in the
Empire, he'd not doubt have an excellent
career ahead of him as a History
professor.
