After reading the Ontological Argument, all I can say is that my head is spinning. Instead of focusing on the entire document, I decided to look closely at the phrase, "existence is perfection".

Using a thesaurus, I translated this phrase into more phrases:

actuality is distinction
reality is excellence
something is virtuous

Truth be told, that didn't help me much. I am still not really understanding the argument that "to exist, God must be perfect". We exist, right? But we're not perfect.

As to the argument that God exists or does not exist, my beliefs seem to lean a little more to the Eastern religion- that is, God exists in my heart more than he is an outside being or an object. The rest of the document made my head spin. The fact that God exists to me is enough, proof or no proof. The rest of it is just details.
