Hi group,
In the list of Aquina's Second Way of the Causal Argument, number 4, Why is it impossible for there to be an infinite regress of causes? If God is caused, who caused him? Isn't it possible there IS a infinite of causes and an infinite many of Gods, and this has been going on for forever and will never end?

I like the comment in the Criticisms of the Causal Argument...#3- "perhaps the universe has always been there and its existence is just a brute fact with no explanation". But would that mean there is not God....no one to explain all of this to me?
