Wow-I was glad to see your response. I'll join your band wagon on that one. I too believe that the mentioned "leaders" were driven more by psychosis than atheism. I cannot find the correlation between not believing there is a perfect being guiding all that happens, and murdering people or animals. I do agree with the first part of Prof. statement though. And that is probably why I am more an agnostic at this time in my life. I can hardly imagine a perfect, all knowing god to be anything but accepting of each person for who they are--not what religion (if any) they practice. That perfect of a being wouldn't need to be worshipped. The worshipping seems to be more for the humans. More for the camaraderie of the group agreeing, supporting each other and being social.
