I think the Nagasaki example is a valid one, but i believe it is the thoughts and feelings you have at that time that make each experience individual. two people could think the exact same words, at the exact same moment, but have entirely different feelings about those words. like when you say hamburger to a carnivore and a vegetarian. they may both think 'meat', but obviously, the vegetarian would be adverse to the thought, while the carnivore would probably be quite pro burger.
