The point is that you are already dead. If the theory is incorrect and the religious theory is correct (spirit to heaven etc.) then does it really matter if the body is frozen, buried in a concrete box, cremated or whatever? This option simply allows for the possibility. If you are decaying under ground or have been burnt up, then the theory that we can be "mechanically" (if I may) fixed from our failure to work cannot be carried out. The prof. statements about fear of death are right on. Obviously, someone who is so unhappy that they commit suicide is not afraid to die. In fact, they look forward to being free from whatever causes their unhappiness. Most healthy people don't want to die. Whether or not they believe in a god. Then there are the martyrs. Oh - I said healthy people - never mind.
