I as well felt like this topic was hard to post on. I am not sure exactly how I feel about the topic of cryonics. This is such a different topic to think about because it seems so odd that people are moving towards preserving life. This is a fairly new idea to me so I have a little bit of a hard time moving beyond somebody preserving their body to go beyond what might be considered a natural life span. I felt like a good point was made when it was said that a person would be dead so their life was over. I would have no real reason to be suspended because my life had been lived and why would I want to have it extended? When I woke up, if I woke up, my life would most likely not be as I remembered it. That thought kind of bothers me. It is kind of a neat idea to extend your life, but life would most likely not be as a person remembers it. So "cheating death" may not be quite as satisfying as is may first seem.
