As described previously, posts are
counted if they are on the subject matter
of the class and not brief, "me too" posts.
Posts about technical questions or class
requirements, test dates etc., including
this post :-) don't count.

Comments on other people's posts
certainly count and are encouraged. Any
of my posts on the subject matter would
count as full posts. I'm not going to give a
word count, but I'll say that posts should
be at least a long paragraph. Posts of just
a few sentences will only be given partial
credit. But, for example, if there's a back
and forth exchange between two
individuals and it amounts to a good
sized paragraph (say through four or five
brief messges) that would count as a
whole post.

Since the requirements for posting are so
minimal, I expect people to err on the side
of wordiness and post several shorter
messages or at least one longer
message every week.
