I'm not particularly convinced of either of these topics. I tend to side more with the theories of Dr. Jansen regarding hallucinations, drug induction etc. in regards to NDE's. These cases always seem to include "seeing" "hearing" or "feeling" of some sort. But these are all sensations that we experience thru the use of our bodies. It seems to me that these experiences are more like dreams than reality. My dreams are very clear. I remember them often. They include people I recognize and people that I don't. They include places I remember being and places that I have never been. I believe that this comes from information that our brains absorb throughout our conscious day whether or not we are "paying attention" to it. I feel that these NDE's are some kind of brain activity that is going on. And that it is very possible that we actually "live" a little longer than our machinery can tell us at this time.
As for reincarnation - well that's even less believable to me. Stevenson seems to be a bit strange to me (his mannerisms etc.). At least the way he was depicted in the reading. It seems to me that he has an overwhelming need to "be" someone. Of course, this is just my opinion and I will gladly remain open-minded to possible proof.
