Hello,
I find the idea of the soul existing away from the body hard to believe, although I don't rule it out as a possibility. Having your head cut off for suspension seems so grotesque. If the head is what makes the person, maybe in the future we'll all have our heads fitted to super robot bodies. then we'd never have to get physically tired. we wouldn't have to worry about getting fat or anything. Wouldn't even have to worry about eating. Maybe some other maintenance issues.
