I don't think you're off the subject. I don't think Drs. try to play god. That is a terrible misunderstanding of others. They are simply doing the best they can with the knowledge they have. Going to the Dr. and getting mad because he said you have x problem and later you find out it was y problem is a simple example of this. Drs. just work with an "educated guess" and they are just people like the rest of us. The "playing god thing" is usually only brought up by people who believe in god. Some of those people refuse all medical help (even for their kids) and are now being prosecuted in our society for neglect. So is it crazy to believe that someday society may prosecute someone who insists on burying their parent or child instead of freezing them?
