It seems like cryonics is a hot issue. As I was
reading through the cryonics material I was
reminded of the movie "Vanilla Sky". The main
character has himself cryonically suspended.
However, during his suspension he is given a
dream life to enjoy. Because of this dream life he
is not aware that he has been frozen. So to him,
and the movie watcher, the dream is real until we
all find out otherwise. So the question remains. . .
what is real?
When someone is cryonically suspended do they
still exist? Do they experience an afterlife even
though their body has been frozen in time? If so,
do they come back from the afterlife somehow
changed when/if they are revived?
