On the "Playing God" issue, isn't all modern medicine in a sense "playing God?" Comments?

In a sense, No. Modern medicine is scientifical evolution. Humans evolve. The earth evolves. Science evolves. Personally, I do not believe in the concepts of god or religion itself. As a matter of fact, religion has nothing to do with science. Or at least it shouldn't, people make it that way. Medical science is a product of the evolution and experimentation of human intelligence. I am studying to achieve my ultimate goal of becoming a PA which is slightly under being a physician. I would never dream of "playing god". If modern doctors feel that they are in a position to 'play god' because of the medical and technological advances that are available today, they need to retire and play more golf. Hmm.. maybe I'm off the topic a little bit. Just my rant.... :-P
