The point is that everyone has differing opinions and by reading each person's thoughts it helps us grasp the concept. Personally, I hate to share my thoughts also. I am afraid of sounding like an idiot or of sounding like I am not understanding the text.

However, by posting my thoughts then others reply and I am able to see their opinions. It sheds a different light on the subject. Each person has something to share. Think of it this way - you get to share with people you most likely will never meet in person.

Let it rip! Let your thoughts flow, you opinions be stated. Don't worry about what others may perceive you as. Part of life is crossing the paths of others and seeing how their actions or opinions affect you. You may read someone else's post and change how you thought or perceived the reading.

I am a very private person also and I understand where you are coming from - but if you try it, you will understand how others in this class can help by responding to your posts.
