Not having read this yet, I'd still like to make a point. Cryonics... immortality. Hmm. What's the point in being immortal if you spend eternity as an ice cube? Sure, you can see the distant future, but eventually one of two things is going to happen; 1) they'll thaw you, fix you, and you'll go on living until you die of old age (no immortality there) or 2) you'll be frozen stiff forever, and won't have any behavior at all. Now, with no behavior, are you really alive from a materialist point of view? After all, life is evidenced by behavior. Although, I suppose being completely still and very very cold forever could be construed as a behavior. But what's the difference between a frozen alive person and a frozen dead person from a behaviorist stance? Never mind- I'll read the packet and say more. That's just my initial reaction.
