Well I didn't find the cryonics science to be so bad. At least the idea of suspending someone until such time that they can fix them and get them going again. Maybe it is because my husband dabbles in old cars and old motorcycles. Some of those old fixer uppers are better than the new ones. And yes, I have a tendency to believe that we are very complicated machines. I would say cryonics falls under the mind-body theory. I find it hard to believe that really devote religious people would buy into it, simply because they believe in heaven. Why hang out here if you got a better place to be? My only problem with the cryonics is that most people would not be able to afford having some secret fund hidden somewhere for when they wake up. They would be in a time that, undoubtedly, they would have old skills, so how would they get a job. Once you're awake you got to eat!! I wouldn't count on it being so different that you wouldn't be responsible for yourself anymore.
