If I had to choose between idealism and materialism I'd have to choose idealism. I don't fully commit myself to any of the theories we've covered though. We seem to live in a very materialistic society and it scares me. I've just barely started the cryonics readings and it freaks me out. I don't want to live forever. I think of death as the end of consciousness and that doesn't seem so bad. I can't picture mind and body separated after death. I don't think theres some other plane that the soul goes to exist after death. On the subject of this class, I love it.
