This reminded me of people that have multiple personalities. And my question is "is there a difference between personality and person". I would say yes. That would mean that it really doesn't matter what skills they have or their temperament, but back to the body. When Jane has amnesia and you say "she's not the same person anymore", you are actually saying that she doesn't have the same personality anymore. She is still the person Jane.
