a shell? So am i to believe that the outer label determines the inner being? That waxes unfortunate for the millions of homeless. Then there's the obese, the mentally-challenged, and the death row inmates. I don't neccesarily agree with the statement you made, but on one point i *could*- and that is that when one describes oneself and none other, that person may take on the characteristics of what they are describing. It doesn't mean that they *are* that label, it just means that they are mimicking it well. Just as if i started dressing in kimonos and speaking japanese, i would not be a geisha, but i *would be* mimicking. Thus creating a false label of geisha. Outside appearances, as i'm sure we're all aware, are meaningless in this world. It all goes back to the mantra that "it's the inside that counts".
