This probably won't clear much up in the way of answering the question at hand but...

why would a thought have to be owned to be valid? And why are thoughts and emotions not considered as mere chemical reactions rather than glamourized as life changing events? I'm not downing on human events which trigger new emotion or new thoughts i.e. the birth of a child, death of a loved one, wedding day... i'm just asking why do we consider something as mundane like thoughts to be a mysterious process? My logic to facing thoughts as unowned chemical processes and nothing more stems from knowing how we change people's behavior(s) through medicine.
