I'm trying this from my yahoo address because it doesn't seem to work thru hotmail. The technical difficulties are definitely making it difficult to get on to the web board.. I've tried from several different locations and the only one I could get on at was if I was actually at the college.. and they aren't open on weekends.. Frustrating..

Anyway. I don't know if I'm understanding the concept correctly but basically what it sounded like to me was that everything is connected in the sense that everything we do is in response to some stimulus whether it's the natural elements or people that we interact with everyday..

It does seem to make sense that the way we identify ourselves is in the contest of outside forces such as family, national origin, sex, ideologies.. all things that we interact with but have little control over...

So if I want to believe in the illusion of an identity at least I now know that I can change it just by touching, looking, interacting with a different set of forms, feelings, desires or images.. Even if it's only for a moment..
